Enough of this complaining about what isn’t vegan. Today I am celebrating the return of one of my favourite snacks that was vegan, went non-vegan for a while and has returned as vegan once more.
Check it out!
Are you ready for photographic evidence of another one of my thorough supermarket expeditions?
A few nights back, Josh and I visited the mammoth Tesco Extra in Colney Hatch (North London) and returned home with some fun and tasty vegan products.
See proof below.
A short and sweet post to share one of my Sainsbury’s finds.
This isn’t a new product but it is new to me.
Here is some news worth celebrating.
The Financial Times (yes, the FT!) has reported the UK is about to see the launch of a vegan mayonnaise brand that has exploded in popularity across North America. To add to the excitement, the brand will be exclusively launched in Tesco stores, making it widely available to shoppers all over the country.
This time of the year is all about Day of the Dead for me, but if I was giving Halloween a look in I’m sure these vegan sweets would be a major concern in my house.
As I was ambling around my local Sainsbury’s a few nights ago, I made time to peruse the Halloween sweets and candy aisle. Strangely, the very first packet I picked up had the ‘vegan’ symbol on the back.
This pack of orange flavoured jellies is the perfect addition to your shopping list if you want to get involved in the Halloween tradition of dishing out candy to strange children. It would be pretty awesome to hand a few of these to trick or treaters. Covert vegan action via celebration sweets!
Just before Josh and I departed Berlin, we paid a visit to the wonderful Veganz grocery shop on Warschauer Straße for a spot of shopping.
The idea was to buy a few things to bring back to London. The reality of the situation was slightly different to the plan.
Check out our haul.
I know you love these photo heavy posts. I know because they always get a whole lot of traffic. Forget about me pouring my heart out, you greedy so-and-sos want food photos and you want them now.
I won’t stand in your way.
Following is photographic evidence of my first ever trip inside a Veganz store (Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg branch). As all plant-eaters know, Veganz is a chain of mini grocery stores and delis, founded in Germany, where every single item for sale is vegan.
OK. Here goes.
I stumbled into a vegan-friendly grocery store in Manchester a few weeks ago and it was all so surreal and unexpected. I’m a bit lost for words.
I’ll try my best.
