Nothing but a bunch of photos in today’s blog post.
I stopped by Iceland supermarket in Angel Islington earlier in the day and a handful of vegan-suitable grocery items caught my attention.

Too Good To Go is an app through which businesses sell food and groceries that is close to or on its best before date.
The app helps business make a little bit more revenue on food that would otherwise be trashed if left unsold, gives consumers a chance to save a few quid, and works to direct food away from being wasted or tossed in landfill.
The app allows you to search by map and by keywords. Today I located a small grocery store near Kings Cross that was offering a £5 mystery bag that was labelled as vegan with a retail value of more than £15.

I’ve made a big fuss on my blog recently about how I don’t celebrate Christmas (read here), but one thing I can get behind is vegan Christmas groceries getting heavily discounted after the date.
I popped into Sainsbury’s in Angel, London yesterday for a few essentials only to be distracted by these cheap Christmas foods.
Take a look at all nine items below.
First up are these vegan pigs in blankets which, for the uninitiated, are sausages wrapped in bacon. They have been marked down from £4.50 to £2.25.

My visit here in Brisbane, Australia is coming to an end and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegan groceries available in the larger supermarkets.
Following on from my post about vegan finds in the shops a few days ago, here is another bunch of plant-based supermarket items I’ve seen during these past few days.
See them all below.

I’ve been in these plant-based streets for a long time now, so it takes a lot to ruffle my receding hairline.
But every now and then something happens in the vegan world that manages to give me a rush of excitement and this week that buzz came back when legendary restaurant chain Purezza announced something big.
If you are a big vegan cheese fan, you will want to keep reading below for the full story.

Tell me I’m not the only one who does this.
Sometimes I like to take a stroll through supermarkets, even when I don’t need anything, just to take a look at the vegan products. This is something I particularly love to do on vacation.
Some people rush to the nearest art gallery or tourist attraction, but I’m rather content to stroll up and down every aisle of a local supermarket.
I’m not on holiday this week but I did take a journey into my local Waitrose supermarket for no reason other than to spot the plant-based goods.
Here are 10 that caught my eye.
