Leeds is on fire for vegan food.

You’ve seen my recent post about the wonderful fry-up I enjoyed a few weekends back and now I’m revisiting the northern city to let you know about probably the finest Sunday roast you are going to get anywhere in the country.

Pasta in a pot

I don’t even drink coffee but find myself presenting you with a second piece of vegan news this week related to one of the biggest coffee chains in the country.

Two days ago I told you about the vegan mince pie being sold at Caffè Nero and today I bring you word of another plant-based offering from the country-wide high street business.

Amazing vegan breakfast

You might think it would be an easy task to find a decent cooked vegan breakfast in the UK, but sadly we don’t have a lot of noteworthy contenders.

For some mysterious reason, we are experiencing a lean period for outstanding fry ups.

This lack of hot morning meals forces me to search high and low across the country and when I find a decent breakfast, I like to shout about it.

Check out this glorious selection I recently enjoyed in the northern city of Leeds.

That time of year

It is time.

The leaves have turned, the wind is whistling and Caffè Nero has started selling its vegan mince pie.

I picked up my first mince pie of the season at the Caffè Nero in Richmond today.

Releasing a vegan mince pie is now seemingly a yearly tradition for the coffee chain.

Have you tried one this year?

The gorgeous pub perched on a stretch of the Thames between Hammersmith and Chiswick has been offering a small selection of vegan options for a while now, but the kitchen staff have just taken the plant-based menu to another level.

Check out the photos below of the best vegan pub food in London. We ate and ate and ate during our visit last night.

Shop online

Momentous news.

The nicest people in London with the best vegan clothes shop on the planet have just launched the finest vegan shopping website on the Internet.

Cop a look at these two cheeky scamps.

James and Angela of The Third Estate have become dear friends of mine since I first met them way back in the day at their shop in Leeds. For many years they served the compassionate community of Leeds with their unique brand of music shop goodies and animal free attire.

When they moved the store to London several years ago, the blog post I wrote about the opening instantly became the most read article on my blog.

Fast forward to now and the terrible twosome have launched their fabulous website, meaning shoe-hungry shoppers all over the country, the continent and the planet will be able to buy some of the best cruelty-free brands from the comfort of their own bean bags.

No need to hop a plane or train to get to Camden (although, you still can if you wanna see their cute faces). You can now buy shoes, boots, belts, wallets, dresses, jeans, skirts, t-shirts and more all in one place online and feel as smug as a bug in a faux sheepskin rug.

The Third Estate website will ship your purchases anywhere in the world, so get over there now and start shopping.
