A couple of weeks ago I landed at Miami airport and had a long drive across the Everglades before heading north to Gulfport ahead of me. This didn’t leave me very much time for lunch, so I quickly checked the HappyCow app to find the nearest place and luckily found something en route in the western suburbs of Miami.
How does time fly so quickly? It feels like only a few weeks ago we were all celebrating at VegfestUK Brighton but the annual event is now just two weeks away!

I’ve just heard that a 100% vegan café located in central London has closed.

Well I’m not sure what the government have in mind when they talk about the Northern Powerhouse, but perhaps they are referring to the proliferation of 100% vegan establishments that are springing up north of Watford. In recent weeks, I’ve told you about Love Juice in Manchester and Lolo’s in Ramsbottom. Now it’s time to head over the Pennines to Huddersfield where there’s a new kid on the block (pun intended).
The provisional (and I’m fairly certain) date for London Vegan Beer Fest 2016 is Saturday July 16. I keep getting asked so I thought I’d better get it out there.
