Christmas can a weird time for vegans.
We often want to participate in the festivities and rituals, but to do so means being faced with a lot of animal-derived foods. On a day supposedly about kindness and compassion, it can feel extremely challenging to sit across from people who are devouring multiple types of animals.

The time has come to say goodbye to London Vegan Social.
This monthly event has been part of my life for about four years, but in truth, it was the continuation of something I’ve been doing for more than a decade. From the early days of London Vegan Drinks and London Vegan Potluck right through to the present, these gatherings have been a huge part of my life. They’ve been places where friendships were formed, collaborations were born, and where kindness was always on the menu.
