If you love vegan food and supporting local business, you are going to want to know about this shop in Sheffield.
All Carrot No Stick is a shop that is completely independent, packed with incredible plant-based groceries, and a dream come true for anyone who enjoys supporting ethical businesses.
This weekend in the Steel City, hungry vegans and vegan-friendly eaters can grab some great deals from the Make No Bones stable of restaurants to celebrate their launch on the UberEats delivery app.
I’m always shouting from the rooftops about Truffle Pig and their decadent vegan chocolates.
The Sheffield-based confectionary specialists have developed a loyal following and it is no surprise when you consider how delicious their products are.
I first tried Truffle Pig chocolates a few years back when they traded at my Sheffield Vegan Beer Fest. I bought as much as I could but people swamped them and everything was gone very quickly.
Knowing how popular the brand is, you should be excited about this new hand painted, dark chocolate block released just last week.
It is called Riots Not Diets.
This 100g chocolate bar is made with their signature dark 55% cocoa with 'RIOTS NOT DIETS' written on each one. As these are hand painted design, each bar will be uniquely decorated!
Support independent vegan business and support your taste buds. Click here to check out the entire Truffle Pig range online, including the new Riots Not Diets bar.
Important fact: Truffle Pig restock online every Friday so you need to be quick on the day to place your order.

The vegan revolution shows little sign of slowing down in the UK and this city centre pub announcement is further proof.
The Old House is a popular watering hole on Devonshire Street that has been serving vegan options on their food menu for a while, however they have now made the decision to switch to 100% vegan food and cocktails as they come out of lockdown.
Locals can book tables now in anticipation of the May 19, 2021 reopening and really get fired up by the tantalising menu.
Check it out below.
The menu is packed with tempting comfort food including all day brunch, stacked burgers, and loaded fries.
But it isn’t just the food!
All of the cocktails will be vegan, too. Fill up on plant-based drinks and snacks.
You can follow The Old House on Instagram and Facebook to stay updated on menu additions.
Need to book a table? Head over to The Old House website. The Sunday roast dinners will be especially popular.
They have renovated the beer garden of the pub with plants, lights, and umbrellas so rug up and get down there between Wednesday and Sunday. Come summer, this place is going to be packed solid every single day.
You can see the Beer Engine food menu online here.
In case you missed the announcement last week, I now have a weekly vegan news roundup that gets published as a podcast every Wednesday.

Sheffield vegans and the vegan-curious alike are set to enjoy a true taste revolution as plant-based Saucy launches with gourmet fast food delivery in the South Yorkshire city.
Launching on July 31, 2020 Saucy is the new project from the founders of legendary vegan eatery, Make No Bones, and I’m super happy to be working with them to help with promotion.
Saucy co-founder Dave Shaw said of this new fast food concept:
“My dream has always been to feed delicious vegan comfort food to as many people as I can. While our team is busy working hard behind the scenes to get Make No Bones back up and running and serving our loyal customers again, we also wanted to bring another plan to life.
We designed the Saucy menu to appeal directly to the taste buds of decadent burger lovers and people who, just like me, can’t resist a hefty portion of crispy fries.”
Specialty menu items set to impress include the Katsu Burger featuring a fried chicken-style fillet housed in a fresh bun with sesame-infused slaw and Japanese curry sauce.
Freshly cooked fries are available in two sizes, as is the irresistible Japanese-inspired slaw when ordered as a side.
A selection of beef-style burgers sit alongside the line-up of chicken-style burgers, while fans of gourmet dipping sauces will be thrilled to see a wide range of in house sauces available to order separately to take their fries experience to another level.
Saucy is currently serving delivery only via local food app Mealbase, with more options for takeaway and delivery coming soon.
Now that I’m back living in the UK, a lot of companies are asking if they can send me free samples of their products.
Obviously most companies that do this would like at least a post about the products on my Instagram account. Sometimes if I am really taken by a product, I will also share on my blog and other platforms.
Take a look at some of the free stuff that was sent to me during the past seven days.
Is there anything you like or have tried before?
Also, please follow me on Instagram to see all my free product photos and supermarket finds.
