Vegan cafe and bar in Birmingham

Do you know about Natural Bar and Kitchen in Birmingham, UK?

This fully vegan cafe and restaurant is also the only vegan bar in Birmingham! They serve vegan wine, beer, prosecco and soon gin and cocktails, too!

I love the sound of this place!

It gets even more fab when you discover Natural Bar and Kitchen is also hosting live music events.

Get along in April 2018 to experience the new menu which will run alongside the usual buffet style (pay by weight) food that they offer.

Not impressed yet?

Natural Bar and Kitchen also serves up:

Vegan bar and restaurant in Newcastle

Try to stop this vegan revolution sweeping the UK and you will not be successful.

The northern city of Newcastle has enjoyed eating at vegetarian restaurant The Bohemian for a while now, but they have even more reason to fall head over heels in love with the place.

The Bohemian is now 100% vegan.

The kitchen serves a whole range of comfort food, with their pizzas getting a lot of attention on social media.

Unlike some pubs that launch vegan food menus but forget about the bar aspect, The Bohemian has also converted their drinks menu to be 100% vegan.

As if all of this isn’t cool enough, there is also a record store INSIDE the restaurant. Yep, you can shop for vinyl after you fill up on tasty food.

Vegan friendly pub with food in Swansea

Swansea. Your time has come.

The Last Resort is a contemporary drinking venue that is rapidly becoming the number one place where vegans and vegan-friendly people like to socialise in Swansea.

Carl from The Last Resort (located at 207 High Street) got in touch to let me know that the bar serves about a dozen craft beers on tap (all vegan) and that their food menu currently consists of the following:

  • Tofu-phish and chips
  • A southern fried seitan burger
  • Mac and ‘cheese’
  • Vegan scotch ‘egg’

The bar is super proud to serve up fairly monstrous portions and I’ve been hearing amazing reviews from their regulars.

You can follow The Last Resort on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Yay for vegan boozing in Swansea!

New vegan bar and kitchen

Excitement!

There is a brand new vegan venue opening TOMORROW (Friday June 23, 2017) in the Scottish capital and it’s called Harmonium Bar and Kitchen. This is so very exciting.

Glasgow has long been considered the more vegan-friendly when it comes to Scottish cities, but Harmonium in Edinburgh is set to shake things up.

Brought to you by the team behind such legendary Glasgow hotspots like MonoStereoThe Flying DuckThe Old Hairdresser’s and The 78Harmonium is set to inject a whole lot of vegan tastiness and vibrancy into the Edinburgh neighbourhood of Leith.

Check out the happy team and the gorgeous work being done on the interiors.

It should also be noted that the head chef of Mono in Glasgow is in charge of this new Edinburgh endeavour so you know food and flavours are going to be world class. Comfort food is the name of the game with exciting and nutritious dishes also taking up a lot of the menu.

Get along as soon as you can to be a part of this new vegan location.

Dairy milk in vegan venue

One of the great things about Berlin is that there seems to be so many new vegan places to visit, it’s difficult to keep up!

A visit by my sister last weekend was the perfect opportunity to try somewhere we hadn’t been before, so we took a break from sightseeing and let the U-Bahn take us away from the tourist hordes, down to Neukölln, where there’s a new vegan tapas bar called Alaska. (I neglected to ask about the bizarre name, perhaps that particular US state is noted for its Spanish cuisine?)

It’s a really lovely place, a real oasis on a rather run-down street. Nicely decorated and comfortable, with a pleasant atmosphere, prompt service and very friendly multilingual staff.
