Walsall goes vegan

Wikipedia tells me that ‘Walsall is an industrial town in the West Midlands of England. It is located 8 miles north-west of the City of Birmingham and 6 miles east of the City of Wolverhampton.’

What Wikipedia doesn’t state is that Walsall is set to host its first ever vegan fair on Saturday February 18, 2017.

The Facebook event page for Walsall Vegan Fair informs us that there will be more than 60 stalls as well as informative talks and tempting cooking demonstrations. Follow that page for full list of vendors soon.

It’s free to get in, so you have little excuse not to be there if you are in the area.

Vegan market in Leicester

Nothing warms my heart quite like news of a vegan market.

I have recently been telling anyone who will listen that vegan street or farmers markets are the way forward, so I’m thrilled to hear that the first ever event of its kind for Leicester is taking place next month.

As the flyer says below, a diverse range of products will be available as well as lots of delicious plant-based food on June 12, 2016.

The best part? Leicester Vegan Market is being staged smack bang in the middle of the historic town centre, meaning it will enjoy extremely high visibility and will help expose a lot of locals to vegan choices.

New vegan grocery store

Here is some excellent news.

Birmingham (in the UK, not Alabama USA) is about to get a brand new vegan retail outlet.  This will be the second 100% vegan shop in the city. Geez, Birmingham. Don’t be so greedy!

Get a sneaky look inside the still-being-built shop below and read what the owner has to say about the new outlet which just happens to be named Vegan Store. Catchy, right?
