London Vegan Beer Fest 2018 was a huge success

Wow. What a day.

The day after a big event like London Vegan Beer fest is what I imagine the day after a wedding might feel like.

We work extremely hard for months and months to make London Vegan Beer Fest a reality. We want it to be a day to remember for our guests but it all seems to be over so quickly.

I popped over to Instagram this morning and collated some of the best pics posted by attendees yesterday.

There was beer. A lot of beer. There was an incredible line up of food. There was an amazing and raucous karaoke room. There was face painting.

Actually, this was more fun than a wedding!

Check out the photos below and be sure to buy tickets for our Coventry, Glasgow and Sheffield versions of this event online here.

Yorkshire brewery headed to London

London Vegan Beer Fest is coming back for a sixth year in a row and we have lots of lovely surprises planned for Saturday July 14, 2018.

All the news will roll out over the next few months, but the first big announcement is all about Brass Castle.

Superstar vegan brewery Brass Castle of Yorkshire is returning for a second year in a row to run a huge, indoor beer hall at the London event.

They will be once again taking over the Hackney Showroom with a multi-tap bar while we have some exclusive food traders in the back alley.

Add to this our outdoor beer and street food market and London Vegan Beer fest is going to be a HUGE day out.

Early bird tickets are already on sale and are almost 20% gone. Buy here.

Follow Brass Castle on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Highlights from London Vegan Beer Fest

I’m a little worn out after a big day, but the sore feet and weary eyes seem completely worth it when I look back over these photo highlights from the 5th annual London Vegan Beer Fest.

Hackney Downs Studios came alive in an explosion of beer, food and a hell of a lot of friendly people.

Thanks to the Studios for hosting the giant event and huge appreciation to our sponsors Follow Your Heart.

One million offerings of thanks to all the wonderful people that worked hard and volunteered their time to make the event a runaway success.

Next stop? Sheffield! Now onto the London photos.

Beer talks this weekend!

London Vegan Beer Fest isn’t just a place where you drink, eat and have a fab time. You can also learn stuff.

I’m absolutely thrilled to announce Oliver Coningham as a very special guest at our event this Saturday July 12, 2016.

Oliver knows a lot about beer and enjoys sharing his expertise and passion for the good stuff with others. It is for these very reasons we have asked Oliver to host two information sessions during London Vegan Beer Fest.

Session one taking place at 1pm will suit beer know-it-alls and novices alike as Oliver runs the assembled drinkers through the A-to-Z of vegan beer. Why is vegan beer vegan? Why is beer sometimes not vegan? How is vegan beer made? You’ll find this talk fascinating and it will equip you with all the info you need to go forward in life as a vegan beer expert.

Session two at around 4pm is set to feature Oliver telling you everything you need to know about different varieties of beer. Don’t know how to tell a porter from a stout or an IPA from a lager? This session will have you feeling like a beer expert in no time. Your new party trick down the pub will be explaining the brewing process for every drink being poured within your vicinity.

Oliver’s talks will be taking place in the gorgeous Galley, a stunning dining room featuring Thames views from every position. Sip your beer as you listen to our expert talk and make sure you come armed with some questions to ask. Buy your London Vegan Beer Fest tickets now.

You can see the full list of beers being served at London Vegan Beer Fest here and the full food menu here. Tickets are £5 in advance online or £8 on the day depending on available space.
