I’ve been busy! Like anything you see?
There is a trend sweeping social media today that involves using software to generate a best 9 list on Instagram.
Without too much pomp and ceremony, here is a collage of the most ‘liked’ photos from my Instagram account during 2015.

Vegan Tuck Box have surpassed themselves.
This fabulous subscription service has, for a while now, been the go to supplier of hard to find sweets and chocolates. The monthly box delivery is always rammed solid with tasty snacks and delicious surprises. (I first wrote about the Vegan Tuck Box here)
But what of surpassing themselves?
Vegan Tuck Box is now the number one place in the UK for the best vegan candy on the planet. They have No No’s, Peanot No No’s, Peanot Cups and Chocolate Covered Pretzels. The better part of this news is you don’t have to hope to get these in the mystery subscription box as you can order what you want, when you want.
Click here to visit the Vegan Tuck Box shop to see all the candy and treats available, as well as the eight (yes, eight!) different subscription box options. I’m incredibly tempted by the chocolate lover’s box.
But that’s not all.
How would you like to win the following selection of the best vegan candy on the planet?
You have no idea how difficult it is for me to have this in my house and not eat everything. Many thanks (sarcastic and real) to Vegan Tuck Box for donating this selection of goodies as a giveaway.
How do you win?
This is an Instagram competition. Head on over to my Instagram account, find the photo you see above, like it and leave a comment. Also follow my account if you feel like it.
I will randomly pick a winner next week. I probably won’t pick you if we are friends or enemies. I will post the box to you wherever you are in the world.
Get to it!

Yesterday was a celebration of vegan snack purchases in North London.
Check out four items that floated by plant-based boat north of the River Thames.
The top three were purchased in Bumblebee on Brecknock Road in Kentish Town while the spicy popcorn is from Vx in Kings Cross. Do you like what you see?
I love vegan snacks! Have you seen anything lately you think I should check out? Don’t keep me hanging. Comments below, por favor.

My Instagram account got a good workout today. I spent a large part of the day in north London and managed to snap a few photos of things that caught my attention.
Here are two of my favourite things from Saturday March 1, 2014.

Cookies & Scream in Camden isn’t just one of the best bakeries in the UK. I’d put my money on it being one of the finest on the planet.
This point of view was only strengthened today by my discovery of their new tiramisu creation. I was gobsmacked. The pie filling was decadent, gooey and delicious, while the cream topping was second to none.
Buy this pie.

I am passionately in love with potato and firmly believe the humble hash brown is one of the finest achievements in the long and colourful history of this vegetable.
The photo above shows a simple snack that had me feeling joyous a few days ago. Sainsbury’s own brand hash browns with yellow mustard created the perfect coupling. Amazing.
Do you have a favourite brand of hash browns? Suggestions below!
Vegan snacks. I eat a lot of them and one of my favourites is this tub of piri piri houmous by Sainsbury’s. It is true that I would probably eat most things with a clearly-visible vegan symbol, but this is special in it’s own right. My advice: best eaten with corn chips.
Are there dips and spreads you think I should try? I’m always willing to experiment for the sake of the blog!
Dinner tonight was this lovely vegan meatball stew I threw together using VBites meatballs. I flavoured it with plenty of chipotle and hot sauce while my rice stack in the centre was packed with coriander.
My pal Messy Vegetarian Cook was over for the meal and her Instagram photo took into account our drinks for the evening, including two bottles of red wine and some shots of delicious mezcal. Check it out!
