This chocolate coconut drink is currently available for £6 at Marks and Spencer stores.
That’s the good news. And the bad?
The drink is only seasonal so you need to get in there quickly before it all disappears.
Yay for inexpensive festive booze!
I often make a joke at this time of year where I say I do not celebrate Christmas, but I do celebrate cake/chocolate/etc.

A new vegan sandwich has been launched by Tesco and it sounds interesting.
We are so overloaded with falafel and humous sandwiches in the UK, anything slightly unique is a call for celebration.

This isn’t the most affordable snack at £3.50 but with over 3,000 stores around the UK, there is something to be said about the convenience of this item.
Extra note: I believe that when we shop with independent, local business it is better for our communities. This is not to shame people who have little choice in their area or who are dependent on stores such as Tesco, I simply think it matters to counter a post about Tesco by reminding all of us about ethical shopping.
A few days ago I broke news of Vegenaise and a couple more Follow Your Heart products being launched into 130 Sainsbury’s stores around the UK.
The news came close to breaking the vegan Internet but of course people wanted to know which stores were selling the products.
I didn’t know then. I do now.

Here is a super short post about something I saw in Tesco today.
If you celebrate Christmas and shop at places such as Tesco, you can pick up this vegan chocolate selection box for yourself or a friend. I saw them in the special ‘seasonal items’ aisle (and not in the free from section) of the Tesco Extra in Osterley, London.

Breaking vegan news is coming thick and fast these days, so it can sometimes feel like we might be reaching a point where it stops being a big deal.
Well, don’t get jaded just yet because this next piece of news is certainly worth getting excited about.
Superstar brand Follow Your Heart from California is launching three of its products across 130 Sainsbury’s locations from Sunday October 8, 2017. Yes, this weekend!
This launch includes the finest vegan mayo product on the planet, Vegenaise. This legendary plant-based mayo just celebrated its 40th anniversary. 40 years old and we just got it listed in a major mainstream UK supermarket.

Alongside the iconic vegan mayo, Sainsbury’s stores will also be stocking the Vegan Honey Mustard Salad Dressing and the Organic Vegan Caesar Salad Dressing.

I’m all about supporting local and independent vegan stores but I understand the reality for a lot of people means they rely on major chain supermarkets for their vegan products.
Places like Tesco have become especially helpful for picking up staples such as vegan cheese.
No shame in getting what you need as long as you do your best to be ethical when you can. We all try to do our best.

This is HUGE news for Sgaia Vegan Meats.
The superstar food company has impressed people all over the UK (and the world with shipments heading to New Zealand recently) so it was only a matter of time before a big name store wanted in on the action.
Whole Foods Market stores around the UK are now stocking the Scotland-based vegan meat range. This is huge news for a completely independent vegan business that started so small just a little while ago.
If you are in London, the news gets better for you this weekend.
Sgaia will be at Whole Foods Market Piccadilly Circus all weekend handing out samples. You can visit them on Saturday (June 24) or Sunday (June 25) between midday and 3pm and 4pm until 7pm and try some of their plant based Mheats.

Yes, Essential Vegan have found something to do following on from their wildly successful residency at Haunt in Hackney. They are pushing forward with their plans for vegan cheese domination!
Everything that Vanessa at Essential Vegan makes is superb, but believe me when I say the aged smoked nut cheese is on another level.

Check out the three new packs below.
