Tiramisu and Fish and Chips at Unity

I bloody love Unity Diner. I’ve been working with Unity throughout this year to help raise funds for Surge Sanctuary, so I’ve had a few extra reasons to get into this brilliant London vegan restaurant.

And now YOU have some extra reasons to pay Unity Diner a visit before the end of the year. The team has announced new menu additions, a special supper club, and its festive dining plans. There’s quite a lot going on!

Read more below.

First up, there is something rather special for anyone with a sweet tooth like me. Giuseppe’s Tiramisu is available exclusively at Unity Diner throughout November to celebrate World Vegan Month. Inspired by his nonna’s age-old recipe, this rich and decadent dessert is apparently big enough for two although I wouldn’t blame anyone for keeping it all to themselves. Stock is limited each day, so booking ahead sounds like a sensible idea.

There is also good news for anyone who has been missing Unity’s original tofish and chips. The restaurant explains that its previous supplier changed the recipe in 2025 by adding egg, which obviously wasn’t suitable for a fully vegan restaurant serving compassionate diners. After more than a year of searching, they believe they have finally found a new and improved version. It’s available now, so I think it’s time for a return visit to put it to the test!

November also brings a special evening in collaboration with V Rum. On Monday 23rd November, Unity Diner will host a one-night-only vegan supper club featuring four courses of seasonal plant-based food, each paired with a rum serve from V Rum. It sounds like a lovely way to celebrate the colder weather, and a great opportunity to enjoy something a little different from the regular menu.

And if you’re already thinking about Christmas, Unity has shared its festive opening arrangements. The restaurant will be closed from Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th December, before serving a festive carvery from Sunday 27th to Wednesday 30th December. It will then close again from Thursday 31st December until Monday 4th January, reopening as normal on Tuesday 5th January, 2027.

If you’ve been meaning to visit, or haven’t been for a while, consider this your nudge. There are new dishes to try, a special supper club to book, and festive meals to enjoy before the year is out.

You can book a table at Unity Diner through its OpenTable booking page, and I would recommend getting organised sooner rather than later for the special events and festive period.
