Jam Delish is a celebrated and much-loved Caribbean vegan restaurant in Islington which has now turned its efforts to a second location, this time a pop up vegan chippy!
Read more below.
CHIPPIE by Jam Delish has popped up inside BOXHALL, a food hall on Liverpool Street located diagonally across from the station entrance in central London.
The menu is what you would expect to see in a chippy, but done without any animals.
CHIPPIE is serving up:
- Caribbean codfish and chips
- Jerk battered sausage and chips
- Salt and pepper mushroom scampi and chips
- Loaded jerk oyster mushroom chips
The sides include:
- Mushy pea fritters
- Triple cooked chips
The menu also features dips, drinks, and a caramelised banana cake with custard for dessert.
I opted for the battered sausage and was blown away by the flavours. The Jam Delish twist given to the batter and the chips is top shelf behaviour.
The prices are a little steep but I think that is a me being poor problem, because this price bracket appears to be the norm in London these days.
Get along to CHIPPIE at BOXHALL for a limited time and follow the pop up on Instagram.
