I haven’t done any sort of supermarket product update in a while but this news certainly got me in the mood to share with you all.
I’ve documented my appreciation of the Squeaky Bean brand quite a bit over on my Instagram account and have even collaborated with the brand on a few pieces of content.
They sell really fab, ready-to-eat meat alternatives that are filling a big gap in UK supermarkets… and my belly.
The latest products to join the Squeaky family are these sandwich-friendly Tofu Slices.
Available in either Spinach & Basil or Red Pepper & Tomato, these slices are ready to go and will improve your sandwich game.
But where can you buy them?
Squeaky Bean Tofu Slices are now available in Sainsbury’s stores around the UK (I’m unsure about Ireland and Northern Ireland availability). Of course they will be easier to find in the bigger stores but I do believe it is quite a major rollout so you should not have too much trouble finding them.
Squeaky Bean kindly sent me 50 packets of the Red Pepper & Tomato slices to hand out to attendees at my London Vegan Social event last night and people were thrilled.
Because I am an idiot, I forgot to keep a packet for myself so I am unable to tell you what they taste like. Let me know in the comments if you have tried them yet. I’m a big fan of all things Squeaky, so I’m sure I’ll be team Tofu Slices when I next get my hands on them.
