Best news ever

There is so much good news to cram into this blog post, I can barely sit still due to my excitement levels.

I’m just going to have to give it to you in bite size chunks in order for you to be able to take it all in.

Here goes:

1. London is getting a brand new 100% vegan venue that is part restaurant, part drinking establishment and part late night music hot spot.

Yep, that’s right. After years of waiting, the capital has a 100% vegan bar and I couldn’t be happier. Kabaret is set to explode onto the scene from September 1st, 2014 and London better get ready for a globally-inspired food menu, a tantalising range of craft beers, outstanding coffee, world class fine wines and even a vegan White Russian cocktail. All of this is vegan, people!

The venue is the brainchild of Frank Hutson and Louise Wallis. Frank is an award-winning musician, composer and DJ and Louise is a globally recognised DJ and just happens to be the founder of World Vegan Day. You can read more about the dynamic duo here and read all about the staggering work Louise has done for animals here.

Featuring a massive dining room that transforms into a party space complete with a stage and giant disco ball, Kabaret @ Karamel is going to change the way we eat, drink and party in London. The 2am late licence on Thursday, Friday and Saturday is a revolution for compassionate party people in this city.

2. This news doesn’t need a support act, but I’ve got a pretty solid back up piece of info.

Kabaret has partnered with award-winning vegan beer makers Pitfield. The entire range of vegan beers produced by this much-loved brewery will be available in the venue, even being served from freshly installed draught taps. We now have our very own bar where every single beer on tap will be vegan. Amazing.

3. I am thrilled to say there is more.

I am incredibly proud to announce Kabaret @ Karamel as the new home for the one and only London Vegan Drinks. Starting on September 6th, 2014 and continuing on the first Saturday of every month, London Vegan Drinks is finally set to take place in a 100% vegan venue. Plant-based bar snacks, visiting DJs and an overwhelming selection of vegan drinks makes this the perfect location for the event.

Kabaret founders Louise Wallis and Frank Hutson had this to say about the monthly event:

“We are thrilled and honoured to host Fat Gay Vegan’s legendary night as it ventures into North London.  There is no mistaking that London Vegan Drinks is one of the biggest monthly social events on the planet and to see it reborn in Wood Green is a true pleasure.”

London Vegan Drinks will never be the same. Eat, drink and socialise as the night gets later and the music gets louder, all in a 100% vegan setting. This is the future of cruelty-free good times.

OK, I think I am all out of news. In closing, you will want to do the following:
