Up North

I am thrilled to announce that on September 13th, 2014 I will be hosting a vegan speed meeting event at the Northern Vegan Festival taking place in the Empress Ballroom of the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.

Here is a short piece of information about the event I am running to tease your interest:

Join blogger and events planner Fat Gay Vegan as he hosts a fun and irreverent speed meeting session with a twist. Race against the clock (and other attendees) to meet as many compassionate people as you can with the chance to win prizes.

Sounds fun, right? I have designed a rollicking event that will bring a whole lot of enjoyment no matter if you are looking for friends or are bringing a bunch of your own with you.

This speed meeting is a platform for you to meet other compassionate people outside of the pressures and expectations of typical speed dating events. We are going to celebrate ALL vegans and their need for connections, regardless of how they identify their gender, sex or sexuality. You are going to be laughing with people and forming friendships in a space where the only outcome sought is compassion.

Visit the Northern Vegan Festival website to find out about the huge range of stalls and activities taking place on the day.

Come speed meet with me!

P.S. This venue was immortalised on film in the 1995 Morrissey concert film, Introducing Morrissey, set to be released on DVD for the first time ever in September 2014. Fellow Morrissey fanatics, unite and take over.
