I’d rather Jack

One of the best things about living in the UK is the copious amounts of vegan crisps (potato chips) on offer. Wafer thin, crunchy potato is everywhere and the flavours available are increasing at an amazing rate.

The East Anglian Crisp Company has joined the party and is now supplying this FGV with Jackpots, some of the most delicious vegan crisps on the UK market.

I am not sure if these are new, but I have never seen them in stores prior to a few days ago. It is strange for me to miss a potato product arrival… I can normally  smell them from miles away. Whether they are new or simply FGV-overlooked, I am delighted they are now in my life.

I grabbed the Sweet Thai Chilli and Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar varieties from my local Tesco and they were crunchy and packed with flavour. Both bags were labeled as suitable for vegans.

There is a ‘coming soon‘ website for the company, but that is all the information I can find  on them. Please let me know if you stumble across anymore news regarding Jackpots.

  1. hello, I am enjoying your plain salted crisps: I have the beef ones to try next. One small, but important comment-the union flag on the packet is upside down! This is a sign of distress. I am sure you would not like customers to associate your product with being distressed! It is important that we have British products in our shops. Well done for flying the flag. It is important that if you are going to fly the flag that it is flown properly! It rather detracts from the aim of the exercise. regards, kenneth torr

    • Kenneth, is this message intended for me? I don’t make the crisps, I have just reviewed them. Cheers
