Here is a quick little post to tell you about an amazing vegan food trader.

The Vegan Food Pod is a trailer that pops up around the country, selling the best vegan donuts and pastries you will find anywhere in the UK.

The filled donuts are some of the best I’ve eaten anywhere, including the vanilla custard and chocolate ganache.

We recently welcomed The Vegan Food Pod to Coventry Vegan Beer Fest and the business sold hundreds and hundreds of donuts in a matter of hours.

If you have been to any of my events over the past year or so, you will be familiar with the glorious fried, glazed and filled donuts made by Peanut Butter Bakery.

The food these magicians produce is otherworldly and definitely the finest vegan donuts I’ve tasted in the UK.

If you are coming along to Hackney Downs Vegan Market this weekend, you should prepare yourself for a little change. Peanut Butter Bakery has a new name and now goes by Dough Society.

They have a new menu that includes iced coffees to match the new name.

Get ready for a stampede. Peanut Butter Bakery is launching mini vegan donuts this weekend (Saturday June 17, 2017) at Hackney Downs Vegan Market.

Check out these amazing treats.

Normally Peanut Better Bakery does a roaring trade with their regular sized donuts but as a special treat for market goers in London this weekend, the superstar dough merchants will be presenting some top secret flavours in mini form.

Lauren from the bakery told me people love getting a chance to buy mini donuts as it allows them to explore a lot more flavours than if they were buying regular donuts.

If you are keen on getting the pick of the crop this weekend from Peanut Butter Bakery, get down to the market early. These donuts are not going to last all day.

New vegan food truck in Manchester

Manchester (and the north west) is flying high with vegan developments.

Check out this incredible new vegan food van spotted in Manchester and nearby Cheshire.

The Vegan Food Pod exists thanks to the hard work and culinary skills of Steph. A quick look over some social media posts mentioning the food van will make it clear that Steph is a baked goods genius.

London. You are onto a good wicket.

(Does ‘good wicket’ actually mean anything? Am I using that term correctly?)

After a short time away from the action, the glorious Peanut Butter Bakery is BACK to its usual weekend haunt at The Boiler House market on Brick Lane (see location on Google Maps).

Peanut Butter Bakery caused an absolute sensation at my vegan Christmas market, with people lining up for an extremely long time to get hands and lips on their sensational donuts.

If you think you would enjoy eating the best vegan donuts in the UK, get along to The Boiler House on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February, 2017. You will be unbelievably happy if you make the effort to get along.

Vegan donuts in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is full of vegan surprises.

Such as vegan donuts in a non-vegan donut shop.

Tasty Donuts is a donut and coffee chain with outlets in Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Slovakia.

Each Tasty Donuts shop has one of their trays dedicated to vegan donuts. As you can see in the photos above, there are four flavours from which to choose including one called Blacky(?!).

The Amsterdam outlet didn’t have a whole lot left on the vegan shelf when I visited late in the day, however what they did have was extremely tasty.
