New vegan full English breakfast in Wagamama

The future we never thought would be possible has arrived.

Airports haven’t been known as hotspots for plant-based food. Traditionally, vegans have needed to pack our own snacks when spending time in transit or otherwise deal with uninspired crisp selections.

Imagine my shock today when I discovered a vegan full English cooked breakfast at Wagamama while waiting for my flight at Heathrow Terminal 3 in London.

This marks a huge shift in the state of mainstream plant-based foods.

The full English features seitan bacon, scrambled tofu, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, sweet potato, and toast.

The meal isn’t cheap at £10.25 but it certainly feels like good value when held up against other airport meals.

And the thrill of enjoying a plate of hot vegan food before a flight cannot be overstated. It is a real joy.

Vegan café in Hebden Bridge

You need proof that vegan food and the vegan lifestyle are both sweeping the UK?

Check out this incredibly cute vegan café that has recently opened in the West Yorkshire town of Hebden Bridge. The population of this gorgeous location is around 4,500.

The food menu sounds like a dream come to life.

There are full English breakfasts, main meals, pancakes with syrup, drinks, cakes, and so much more. I need to shift some plans around to make space for a trip to this new vegan business as soon as possible.

Best vegan food in London just got better

Do you remember when I swore a lot about the food from Cook Daily?

In this blog post (and this one) I wasn’t shy about telling you how freaking awesome this Shoreditch food provider is and I insisted you should all get over there to eat.

Well, now it appears the best food in London has gone and gotten an upgrade.

King from Cook Daily tagged me in this short Instagram video to let me know how the already amazing Full English bowl has been improved.

Check it out!

Yes!

I’m loving life in Mexico City at the moment but I would be the happiest FGV on the planet if I could get my hands on this bowl in East London.

Head on in to Cook Daily for this food glory and please say hi from a very hungry and jealous FGV.
