Why Do I Record a Podcast That Not Many People Consume?

For more than 15 years I have written online with purpose.

My blog has always been about promoting veganism, supporting independent business, and championing social justice causes. My social media platforms are an extension of that work. I have written for news sites. I have organised events and promoted them online.

I have used the Internet as a tool to contribute something meaningful to the outside world and my communities.

I enjoy writing, but most of what I do online sits somewhere between work and activism. Most of the time it is a combination of both. It carries responsibility, has intention, and is outward facing.

Then I started a podcast and for the first time in a long time, I created something primarily for myself.
