If your tastes are anything like mine, you’ll have been missing the succulent flavours of LD’s Kitchen Smokehouse since they shut up shop a few months back.
Well, guess what? It’s time to get your best eating bib out of the bottom drawer because this weekend London gets to devour this mouthwatering cuisine once again.

LD and her team have taken up residence at The Imperial Palace of Big Red on Chalk Farm Road and you might have seen a few of the Wings Wednesday pop ups, but this Sunday sees the return of some smokehouse classics.
Get along for a cookout on Sunday 30th August, 2026 between 12pm-6pm or until the kitchen sells out. Warning: it is going to be busy!
They’ll be serving up some of their smokehouse classics, as well as testing a few new items. You can’t make a booking, you just need to show up! All profits from this smokehouse day are going back into opening LD’s back up properly with specialist equipment, so get down there and spend your money.
What will be on the menu?
- Brisket with a mop sauce and handmade pickles
- Ribs glazed in BBQ sauce with pickles
- Grilled mocken wingz with either BBQ or buffalo sauce
- Baked mac’n cheeze
- LD’s family pit beans
- Pot salad
- Skin on fries with LD’s chip rub
- Extra sauces – ranch, BBQ or buffalo
