You have probably heard about celebrated vegan chef and content creator Rachel Ama, right?
Rachel has shot to fame over the past half decade or so via a mix of YouTube cooking videos, cookbooks, social media posts, and live appearances but it is her latest creation that has London all in a flap this weekend.
Read more below.

This is a super fast blog post because at the time of writing, you only have six hours to get down to Kings Cross to try this amazing food.
Rachel has taken over the Turn Up Truck in Coal Drops Yard for this weekend only. This food truck hosts a rotating line up of guest chefs and this month it is Rachel’s turn.
Serving until 6pm on Sunday August 2nd, 2026 or until sold out, Rachel Ama’s menu has been drawing mammoth queues of hungry diners over the past few days. Each day of the takeover has resulted in the kitchen completely selling out with hours to go.

The food is available in either a wrap or as a bowl (suitable for gluten free diners) and includes:
Jerk Charred Mushrooms
Sticky Miso Jerk Glaze
Hibiscus Onion Coriander Salad
Roast Pumpkin Curried Coconut Split Peas
Pickled Green Mango
AMA’s House Hot Sauce
Green Seasoning
Plantain
It all sounds incredible and the response in person and online has been overwhelming.
If you can’t get down there today or you read this too late, be sure to follow Rachel on Instagram for updates on future dates and appearances.
