Vegan Brunch in Deptford

Today I’m stopping by to remind you of a special vegan brunch spot in South London.

You haven’t forgotten about Waiting Room in Deptford, have you?

Waiting Room in Deptford

We visited Waiting Room today (just steps from Deptford train station) for a quick bite to eat. Having them open at 10am on Sundays makes it easy to get in and out early, so you can make the best of your day.

The brunch menu is packed with tasty breakfast style foods including sandwiches, vegan eggs Benedict, cooked breakfast plates, coffee, and pastries.

Vegan Eggs Benny

Cooked Breakfast

My cooked breakfast plate was filled with a muffin, tofu scramble, mushrooms, beans, a hash brown, and battered sausages.

The eggs Benedict featured the scramble with vegan ham on muffins. The VLT was just like a BLT but with vegan bacon!

Waiting Room is awesome because not only is it a completely vegan eatery, it is also a super relaxed neighbourhood spot where people are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. There is even a rear garden so you don’t miss out on any of this sunny weather.

If 10am is too early for you, the regular menu kicks back in at midday on Sundays.
