One of the things I have loved most about being part of the UK vegan movement for the past 16 years is seeing the incredible organisations that dedicate themselves to making life better for animals.
Animal Aid is one of those organisations.
Read more below.

For almost 50 years, Animal Aid has been exposing cruelty, challenging industries that profit from animal exploitation, and helping change public attitudes towards animals. Their work has informed, inspired, and empowered countless people to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Of course, organisations like Animal Aid are only as strong as the people who stand beside them.
That is why I am keen to let you know they are always expanding their volunteer network by inviting compassionate people from across the UK to get involved.
The brilliant thing about volunteering with Animal Aid is that there is no single way to help. If you enjoy meeting people face to face, you can support local outreach events, information stalls, and demonstrations. If you would rather help from home, you can get involved with petitions, letter writing, fundraising, and sharing campaign content online. Whatever your skills or availability, there is likely to be a role that suits you.
Every successful social justice movement has been built by ordinary people deciding to take action together and Animal Aid has been proving that since 1977.
If you have ever wanted to become more involved in animal advocacy, this could be the perfect opportunity. Whether you have years of campaigning experience or are completely new to activism, I’m sure Animal Aid would love to hear from you.
