A vegan restaurant can be much more than just a place to eat and Mildreds in Soho is proving this point during Pride month 2026.
Yes, they serve fantastic vegan food. Yes, they have helped shape London’s plant-based dining scene for decades. But they also know the importance of creating spaces where members of the LGBTQ+ community feel welcome, celebrated, and connected.

That inclusive and celebratory attitude is on full display this Pride season at their Soho restaurant.
On Friday 4th July, as the official Pride parade fills the streets of London with resistance and celebration, Mildreds will be throwing their own Pride party throughout the afternoon and into the evening. A live DJ will be keeping the atmosphere buzzing from 1pm, while frozen margaritas will be flowing for just £6.
In fact, if you cannot wait until Pride, the frozen margaritas are already being served in Soho. Consider that your excuse to pay a visit sooner rather than later.
The celebrations do not stop there.
Running until 6th July, the first floor of the Soho restaurant has been transformed into a Queer Library and Art Exhibition. The exhibition features work by artists Sadie Lee and Fanie Buys, exploring themes of identity and belonging, alongside a library packed with books by Queer authors.
A copy of one of the books can be yours for a £5 donation, with every penny raised supporting Diversity Role Models. It is a thoughtful way to discover new voices, support an important charity, and spend some time with inspiring artwork while enjoying one of London’s most loved vegan restaurants.
Good food, community, art, music, and frozen margaritas. That sounds like a pretty wonderful way to celebrate Pride to me.
If you are planning to be in London over the coming week, make sure you book a table at Mildreds Soho and join in the celebrations.
