Two of my favourite things are coming together at Footprints Animal Sanctuary in June 2026.

On Sunday June 28th, 2026 you can get along to Footprints Animal Sanctuary to eat well, raise funds for the sanctuary, and maybe even meet some of the residents.
Founded by a group of vegans, Footprints is now a forever home for almost 200 animals. The team of volunteers work hard to feed, house, and care for all manner of creatures, all made possible thanks to the kind donations of compassionate supporters.
Now you can get involved with supporting Footprints by attending this special vegan afternoon tea. On the day you’ll enjoy an afternoon tea experience in the barn before being taken on a guided sanctuary tour. There will be time spent alongside the rescued animals, with potential opportunities for gentle interaction with trottered, hooved, and feathered friends.
The 100% vegan menu on the day will include:
Savoury:
Tofu Egg mayo sandwich
Cream cheese and Cucumber Bagel
Cheese & Onion Tart
Duck and Hoison Sauce Wrap
Sweet:
Crunch Brownie
Lemon Drizzle Cake
Chocolate Chip Shortbread
Scones with jam and cream
Of course there will be coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
