Yesterday I had the pleasure of eating what has to be the best vegan sandwich in London.
Dear girls, gay, and theys… let me introduce you to The Club by Coven of Wiches in Walthamstow.
Coven of Wiches is a 100% vegan deli and pickle bar nestled away inside Wood Street Indoor Market. The market itself is a eclectic mix of record stores, second-hand clothing outlets, and collectibles traders, making it the perfect place for consumers on the look out for something special or unique.
Add Coven of Wiches into the mix and you have a must-visit destination.
Chef Annabelle has created a food destination like no other. The in house vegan meats are spectacular, the sandwiches are bigger than you can handle, ice cream floats are made with Australian root beer, and a revolving ice cream cookie sandwich special will turn you into a regular.
Yesterday I decided to stick with one of their most-beloved classic sandwiches.
The Club features double decker buttered toast with in house turkey and smoky pastrami, lemon pepper mayo, fresh avocado, lettuce, juicy tomato slices, baconnaise, and crispy onions. All of this is topped with a fresh pickle and a side serving of crisps.
I can’t rave enough about this sandwich.
