How about a day out in Essex, visiting animals living a comfortable and happy life before grabbing a meal for yourself in a vegan cafe?
You can do all this at Hopefield in Brentwood.
Read more below.

Hopefield Animal Sanctuary and Visitor Centre is a forever home for rescued animals, operating since 1983.
The sanctuary started as a safe space to care for horse but has since grown over the decades to become a home for many types of animals.
Hopefield is now home to alpacas, reindeer, exotic animals and many different types of small animals. They recently opened a reptile room and also taken in many exotic mammals including raccoons, tanuki, marmosets, a skunk, and birds of prey.
The sanctuary is open to the public which is generating funds that go directly to the animals, making Hopefield’s future more secure so they have a home for life.
If you are looking for something to eat during a visit to Hopefield, you can stop by Max’s Cafe for some refreshments. Max’s Cafe is named after a bull named Max who was a resident at Hopefield! The cafe is completely plant-based.
Hop on over to the Hopefield website to read about visiting opportunities, as well as ways you can support the animals directly with donations.
