Dauns is a much-loved Scandi vegan cafe in London. Their brunch plates are legendary and the regular clientele couldn’t be convinced to go anywhere else for their daily coffee and pastries.
The brains and muscle behind Dauns is Rickard. He cooks. He cleans. He does all the behind the scenes magic to make Dauns work.
But did you know Rickard is also a member of a band which is about to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a gig in North London this May?
Read more below.

Rickard’s band Flowers Must Die is teaming up with a handful of other musical acts to celebrate two decades of making art together.
On Saturday May 23rd, 2026 at New River Studios, just a few minute’s walk from Manor House Tube station, you can enjoy the following line up of entertainment:
Flowers Must Die
Sweden’s premiere commune dwelling kosmonauts are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, and rumour has it they will have an ultra ltd edition vinyl LP of music for sale at the event.
Robert Leiner
Incredible Swedish electronic artist who merges kosmische into acid house and techno with ease. This is a VERY rare live outing in the UK.
Ved
For those who saw Ved at the Garage in 2018, you know how amazing this band is. They have released five albums and a bunch of EPs/singles since their 2006 inception. This is their first UK show since that legendary weekend, another unmissable performance.
Agate
Agate is one half of the band Kuro who’s S/T album was released in 2016. Since then Agate’s sonic explorations have seen her play as part of many other forward-looking projects (Abstract Concrete, UKAEA, These Towns, Ondata Rossa) as well as crafting a very established solo career. Expect something very special.
Och
This Swedish band return to London for their second ever show, this time though they will be returning as a three-piece. I’ve been told it will be an otherworldly experience.
ION + Christina Deva
You might have seen Christina Deva supporting Ak’chamel last year. She is joined by ION, a medievalist ambient musician originating from the Balkans. This is the live debut of this collaboration.
In addition to this impressive musical line up, Rickard is collaborating with the New River kitchen on the night to create a limited edition vegan pizza.
Live bands, vegan pizza, and a lot of celebratory good vibes.
