WAVE is a much-loved vegan cafe in Hackney Central.
News has filtered through this week of the eatery undergoing a freshen up not only in terms of how it looks, but how they are going to strengthen their offerings and remain a vibrant independent business.
Read more below.

WAVE has had a tough time recently but now is getting a little bit of love and support from another vegan business.
The team behind Cream Dream (Ukrainian vegan cafe in Covent Garden) is pooling its skills, experience, and dedication into helping reshape WAVE for the future.
They’ve elevated the atmosphere by refreshing the walls, adding more plants, hanging art, and making the space more cozy and welcoming while keeping the tropical vibes WAVE is known for.
In addition, the team is currently improving the hot food menu in order for it to be more interesting and delicious. They’re changing the pastries by bringing back a lot of WAVE’s original favourites plus adding more allergy friendly options such as gluten-free and nut-free options.
The drinks menu is also in line for an overhaul and the team is busy building local connections so customers can expect collaborations with yoga studios and creators to create workshops designed to strengthen the community.
It’s exciting to know that WAVE is getting a second wind and a new lease of life. Perhaps you can get in soon to check them out?
