I’ve made a big fuss on my blog recently about how I don’t celebrate Christmas (read here), but one thing I can get behind is vegan Christmas groceries getting heavily discounted after the date.
I popped into Sainsbury’s in Angel, London yesterday for a few essentials only to be distracted by these cheap Christmas foods.
Take a look at all nine items below.
First up are these vegan pigs in blankets which, for the uninitiated, are sausages wrapped in bacon. They have been marked down from £4.50 to £2.25.
How about chocolate? These giant sprinkle buttons are down to 39p from £1.30.
Did you miss out on mince pies this festive season? Grab a box for £1.05 down from an original price of £3.50.
I adore Nomo so it was great to see the sticky toffee filled chocolate reindeer being sold for 34p, down from an original price of £1.15.
More Nomo with this festive slab of chocolate for £1.79, down from £6. That is a big price drop!
I’m not a fan of cheap white chocolate but if it floats your boat, look out for these snow people for £1.05, down from an original price of £3.50.
Something I do enjoy is tiffin and these festive slices look delicious. And even tastier for £1.85 instead of £3.75.
Are you looking for lighly salted Christmas tree tortilla chips? Aren’t we all?! Now only 59p per bag instead of £1.20.
These fancy salted caramel truffles caught my eye. £2.49 instead of the original £5.
That’s a lot of reduced-in-price empty calories for you to get excited about!
