New pizza cafe
Big, awesome plant-based news time!
The UK is about to get a 100% vegan pizza restaurant.
Wanna know where? Keep reading.
Purezza is set to open in the Brighton neighbourhood of Kemp Town very soon. Although details are a bit thin on the ground at the moment, the Facebook page for the restaurant proudly states they will be serving pizza, coffee, salad and smoothies.
I reached out to co-owner Tim Barclay for a little more insight and he told me:
Do you have a timeline for opening the restaurant?
This Autumn – exact date is yet to be finalised. Will Purezza be a dine in establishment, or takeaway only?
Both! There will be 25 seats inside. What made you decide to open a vegan pizza restaurant?
We were frustrated by the lack of healthy ‘fast-food’ options available in the UK. We want to make Purezza a destination for those seeking a fresh alternative to a typical high street takeaway. Can you give us a teaser of what the menu will be like? What can people expect?
Coffee in the morning through to pizza’s in the evening, the bases will be made from various flours including gluten free. We will solely use high quality ingredients – nothing artificial.
Amazing news indeed.
Tim also asked me to mention Purezza is hiring pizzolios, barristas and assistant managers. If anyone is interested they can contact the restaurant directly through their Facebook page or email contact (at) purezza.co.uk for more details.
Yay for vegan business!
