Your new favourite snack
An exciting and joyous event is upon us. Grab your money carrying vessel of choice and run (don’t walk) to the nearest outlet selling these amazing new vegan crisps. I’ll race you.
Crisps and chips are everywhere in the UK. You can’t walk down the high street without tripping over a fried or baked potato. All of this suits me just fine. My illicit affair with this root vegetable is public knowledge and I’m not ashamed. I’m beginning to think the ready supply of potato snacks was my main motivation to move back to this country.
The UK market place for potato-based snacks is crowded for sure, but I believe there is always room for another… especially if the newbie wears the Vegan Society trademark (the only crisp company to do so) and is absolutely delicious.
Barrow Boys are the new kids on the potato block and they are my new BFFs. This crisp company produce a whole range of vegan snacks. I recently got acquainted with two of the tastiest crisp products I have ever consumed; Hickory BBQ and Cheese & Onion. Yes friends of FGV, I said Cheese & Onion crisps done vegan. Brilliant!
The full range of Barrow Boys crisps also includes Simply Salted, Sweet & Sour, Salt & Vinegar and Bombay Spice. It won’t be long until they are in my belly, mark my words.
You can currently purchase Barrow Boys crisps from Vx in Kings Cross and the locations where they are available will surely explode as people get to know how amazing they are. The crisps are all certified Kosher as well, so keep an eye out for them in your local Kosher grocery stores.
