To infinity and beyond
I love a quality co-operative grocery store and that love turns to adoration when a grocery store is completely vegetarian.
If you are in Brighton and on the look out for vegan groceries, you couldn’t really do better than stopping by Infinity Foods on North Road. This 40 year old institution contains many of my favourite foods and several I had never seen before strolling through their doors. So what do they have on offer?
The pizza was a complete shock to me as I had never seen or even heard of it prior to my visit. As Josh and I were on the road, we didn’t have the opportunity to buy it. I would love to hear from anyone who has been adventurous enough to give it a try.
Infinity Foods really does have a huge array of vegan goods for the discerning cruelty-free shopper. Their shelves are stacked with bulk supplies, ice cream, candles, lip balms, a massive selection of Redwood products, breads, vegan pates and so much more.
Visit them soon.

I hear you! I am addicted to this store though I don’t really buy the processed vegan food (my husband sometime does).
I love it that they offer so many organic (local) veggies, organic nuts and seeds, fresh seaweed, superfoods (chia seeds, raw cacao nibs and maca!) and sandwiches (my favourite: aubergine and miso, oh yes!).
Another store you might like in Brighton is Taj (on Western Road), they sell lots of the same as Infinity Foods plus “ethnic” foods (yummie falafels).
I’ll check it out next time I’m in town. Thanks for the tip!
Did you see their crazy huge collection of tofu?? I tried the hazelnut one, that was amazing!

They really are quite comprehensive with their vegan selections. I wish I lived near them!
I live quite near…but not near enough!
