So many vegan groceries

Have you ever seen anything like it?

Last week I went on another ridiculous shopping expedition to the Vegan Ville grocery store here in Mexico City and I came out one very happy FGV indeed.

Scroll down to see the huge bounty in photo form.

That’s a pretty intense haul, right?

We need to get these products into the UK. With them being sold in cities across mainland Europe, I’m not sure why we aren’t seeing them in stores.

What can we do to make it happen?

Extra note: these photos all originally appeared on my Instagram feed.

  1. We have to approach the supermarket chains and our local health stores and request they stock these items. And we have to contact restaurants and cafes that don’t cater for vegans (for instance, I’ve just written to John Lewis to ask why the only vegan option in their Edinburgh cafe is a bag of crisps!). We’re part of a growing movement of individuals with money in our pockets to spend on vegan options, and the retailers need to wise up to this fact.

  2. You can get the vegan gourmet shreds in the UK
