Have you ever been hanging out in the Battersea region of London and thought, “Gee, I’d love some What The Pitta food right about now”?

Well, guess what?

What The Pitta has a delivery kitchen that has just opened in Battersea!

Opened from Saturday August 1, 2020, the Battersea kitchen from the winner of the Kebab Awards 2020 for Best London Takeaway will be open Monday-Thursday 5pm-10pm and Fri-Sun 12pm-10pm.

The Battersea kitchen from What The Pitta will be delivering exclusively via Deliveroo and the map below shows the delivery radius.

As you can see, large parts of Brixton, Kennington, Vauxhall, Balham, Wandsworth, and Clapham are serviced by the new Battersea kitchen.

Vegan 6-month pop up in South London

Finally we are seeing a vegan movement gathering momentum south of the Thames.

Vegan street food trader The Pleasing Vegan has announced they will be catering at Hops & Green on Camberwell Church Street 7 days a week over a six month period!

The Pleasing Vegan, who have traded at Hackney Downs Vegan Market a few times to loved-up reviews, will be bringing their 100% vegan Mediterranean cuisine to Hops & Green who will in turn be providing a range of drinks including alcohol!

Doors for this collaboration will be opening for the first time on Saturday September 1, 2018 and will be followed by an official launch party (more to be announced soon!).

Vegan dining in Tooting

It has been a while since I have mentioned south London vegan restaurant Vegan Express, so I wanted to take some time today to share some of my favourite photos recently shared on their Instagram account.

I was reminded of this family-owned and operated eatery during a visit to The Just V Show last weekend.

Head chef Charles was cooking up a storm behind the Oumph!-sponsored kitchen counter and it made me curious to see what they have been serving up in their own restaurant.

New vegan cafe for London

If you have been to many vegan events around London, you will undoubtedly know Vegan Sweet Tooth. This bakery business has been pleasing their fans for many years at street markets and their offerings always look stunning.

The big news for Vegan Sweet Tooth is their residency in south London for the entire summer!

The baking superstars have a semi-permanent location in a glorious garden setting behind the Earl Ferrers pub in Streatham. BIG YES to vegan bakeries in pubs!

Vegan Sweet Tooth is selling all of their much loved cakes as well as hot savoury food.
