The super hot London weather seems to have passed but that doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in delicious vegan ice cream treats.

So why not head on over to Islington for an unforgettable chilled bite to eat at Crumb bakery?

Ice cream cookie sandwich

Crumb is a 100% vegan cookie hatch on Charlton Place in Angel which has quickly built a loyal following of customers who adore the chunky, freshly-baked goodies.

I’ve posted about the cookies a few times (the original oat is my top pick) but did you know they also rotate ice cream cookie sandwiches onto the menu?

FGV with a cookie sandwich

I stopped by today and grabbed a sandwich made from two super chewy cookies filled with vanilla ice cream.

The ice cream sandwich was quite large and required all my concentration not to drip it on myself. I even had to set up camp on a nearby bench while I focussed on devouring it.

While I opted for the vanilla, a matcha variety was also up for grabs. Coffee isn’t my thing but I’m sure if you are into the hot stuff, Crumb would hook you up with a cup of something that would partner perfectly with your ice cream sandwich.

Get along to Crumb soon and try for yourself!
