One of London’s most community focused vegan cafés is about to become the setting for an afternoon of food, culture, and community.
Soul Bowl on Lea Bridge Road is hosting a special Desi Vegan Meetup on Sunday 28 June from 1.00pm, bringing together vegans, food lovers, and anyone keen to make new connections in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
Read more below.

Guests are encouraged to dress in their favourite Desi outfits, adding plenty of colour and style to what promises to be a memorable gathering. There will also be an Antakshari session, giving everyone the chance to enjoy a classic game filled with music, laughter, and good humour.
Of course, no visit to Soul Bowl would be complete without incredible food. Guests can pre-order from the café’s delicious vegan menu, making this the perfect opportunity to enjoy some of the best plant-based food in East London while spending time with like-minded people.
Whether you are hoping to make new friends, expand your vegan network, or simply enjoy an afternoon surrounded by positive people, this event sounds like a wonderful way to spend a Sunday. It is family-friendly, welcoming to all, and all about celebrating community.
The meetup takes place on Sunday 28 June at 1.00pm at Soul Bowl, 622 Lea Bridge Road, London E10 6AP. Be sure to RSVP and pre-order your food before the event if you are planning to attend.
It is always a pleasure to see independent vegan businesses creating spaces where people can come together.
