Vegan Fish and Chips in Camden

Did you know you can get a massive plate of vegan fish and chips right in the heart of Camden Market?

Ash with vegan fish and chips

M’eat The Vegan’s is a 100% vegan restaurant located inside the Camden Stables Market, just a few steps past the Amy Winehouse statue.

A group of us popped along yesterday to try the eclectic menu. You’ll find dishes inspired by a global roster of cuisines including Mexican, Thai, and British.

The menu felt a little jumbled with so many different types of cuisine, but everyone at my table enjoyed what they ate. I ordered the papaya salad and our table also welcomed spicy noodles with tofu, curried vegan goat, and the above-pictured fish and chips.

Prices felt pretty standard for London and my dining mates all had positive things to say about their meals.

I can’t bring myself to write this post without making special mention of the restaurant name. I am unsure of the story behind the naming, but it is not something I would choose. Not wanting to sound nasty, but M’eat The Vegan’s is a bizarrely bad name.

Have you eaten here? I would love to to hear your thoughts in the comments.

You can see more info, including the menu, at the official website for M’eat The Vegan’s.
