I love bringing you news about exciting vegan and vegan-friendly events in London and I’ve certainly reported on some wild and wonderful happenings over the years.
But this vegan wine and cheese tasting event in South London is definitely one of the more unique things I’ve shared.

On Thursday February 26th, 2026 you can head along to The Cock Tavern in Kennington to enjoy super talented entertainer Susan Black as she performs as Édith Piaf in a mesmerising tribute show.
Doors open at 7pm and you’ll be able to enjoy 2-for-1 cocktails while you wait for Susan to hit the stage as Édith.
But there is more!
The Cock Tavern will also be hosting a vegan wine and cheese tasting throughout the evening with gorgeous artisan cheeses supplied by the legendary I AM NUT OK.
Live entertainment with vegan wine and cheese? This is going to be a fantastic night.
Tickets are priced at the ridiculously low price of £2 plus booking fee, meaning you will pay just £2.88. This is the cheapest night out in London.

Extra note: The Cock Tavern is a beloved LGBTQ+ venue that is welcoming of everyone in the local community. It is also home to the Queer Open Mic which I host on the final Sunday of each month from 5:30pm until 8:30pm. The open mic is free entry and while everyone is welcome to attend, the stage is reserved for LGBTQ+ performers. Find out more on the Meetup page.
