As regular readers might recall, I am currently visiting my friends and family in Australia.
I haven’t been down here for two and a half years, so I was curious to investigate the vegan offerings.
There are a lot of wonderful plant-based food options here in Brisbane, but one of the biggest surprises was a drinks machine.
Read more below.

Yesterday I popped into a local 7-Eleven convenience store and was surprised to see coffee/tea machines with vegan milk ONLY!
Two of the machines in this store had cow milk and two of the machines were labelled as plant milks only. The vegan machine had the choice of oat or soy milk.
In a world in which we are constantly being told that veganism and plant-based options aren’t viable financially, it was extremly heartening to see this level of support for compassionate hot beverage afficianados in a mainstream chain store.
How does this offering stack up against your local convenience store?
