Vegan Restaurant in Need of Support

What do you know about Amrutha?

This vegan restaurant and catering business is celebrating 10 years of feeding London diners and people in need. But now it is our community’s turn to give a little bit back to them.

Read more below.

Amrutha is a fully vegan food business with two restaurants that have become beloved by diners who want flavour and quality built around pan-Asian cuisine including Indian, Thai, and Chinese food. They have a food truck on the road as well, turning up at festivals, community gatherings, and private events.

Part of what makes Amrutha special is the way they view community as a responsibility rather than a marketing line. They run initiatives offering free meals to people who need a bit of extra support.

That protectiveness is being tested in 2025 as Amrutha works to survive one of the toughest periods the hospitality industry has seen in years. Costs have soared, footfall has become unpredictable, and the pressure on independent food businesses is relentless. To keep going, Amrutha launched a Crowdfunder campaign asking supporters to help secure their future. In return for pledges, supporters receive rewards that can be used at the restaurants. One reward tier even gets you vegan desserts for life!

The incredible news is that the campaign has already reached 92% of its stretch target. That tells you everything about how loved Amrutha is.

If you have been meaning to visit Amrutha, go. If you have been meaning to go back, definitely go soon. And if you have a few pounds to spare, consider adding your support to their Crowdfunder campaign and help push them over the finish line. Independent vegan businesses like this do not survive on good vibes alone. They survive because people show up, eat the food, spread the word, and dig deep when the moment calls for it.

This is one of those moments.
