Vegan home baking business Pa’l Susto has some special treats lined up for London and I have the lowdown on all the details.
Read more below.

I have been writing this blog for so long, I’m starting to feel like a broken record stuck in the same spot.
I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve written about Dat of the Dead. But here is a quick refresher if you are new.
Day of the Dead is a cultural celebration in Mexico and other countries to remember loved ones who have died. In Mexico, this day is marked with colourful decorations, candles, and offerings such as fruit, alcohol, and sweet breads.
Pa’l Susto is an independent vegan baking business and each year leading up to Day of the Dead, they get busy making and selling these beloved Mexican sweet breads especially pan de muerto.
I’m writing this blog post the day after I attended their October 25th pop up but fortunately they have some more appearances coming up in 2025.
· 2nd November (last pop up for pan de muerto) at Proper Tacos 12-5pm in N7
· 29th November (start of Christmas pan dulce! Rosca de Reyes and noche buena conchas) at Black Cat Hackney 9-4pm
· 6th December they have 2 pop ups on the same day!
– Forest Gate Festive Market at The Forest Tavern, 11-5pm
– The Black Heart Winter Market at The Black Heart, Camden 12-5pm
Get along for some gorgeous vegan treats.
