Glorious London venue for vegan events

If you are looking for a gorgeous new venue in London that only supports vegan events, 10 Cable St is for you.

10 Cable St is a new vegan venue in London E1. A former pub known as The Horns and Horseshoe, this was the first public house in London to ban segregation. It started welcoming customers from all ethnic minorities in 1949.

It has been lovingly restored, keeping many of the original features while creating a light, bright, airy and tranquil space. They hosts a wide range of workshops, classes, supper clubs and events based around the themes of food, design and wellbeing and also invite others who shares this vision to collaborate or to host their own events. Yes, get in touch with 10 Cable St if you are a vegan chef or event planner.

I asked founder Moko what the philosophy was behind opening a vegan events space in central London. Here is what I was told:

At 10 Cable St, we think that it’s important to consider the wider impact of the things we do on a daily basis. From the food we eat, to the things that we buy and the products we use, minimising the impact on our bodies and the planet is always at the forefront of our minds. We aim to use only natural, plant-based ingredients in the dishes that we serve and, where we can, we source locally and use organic products. This way, we know where our food has come from and that the impact of getting it from ground to plate has been minimal.

If you want to ask about hosting your own vegan event in this beautiful space, get in touch with Moko via the 10 Cable St website.
