Vegan DJ alert

I am just 24 hours out from opening the doors for my second annual New Year’s Eve party.

Earlier this week, all 70 tickets for the vegan buffet dinner starting at 6:30pm sold out completely. I have been in touch with Louise and Frank of host venue Kabaret and we have sorted a few extra spaces for the meal, so book here for one of the last dinner spots. The dinner ticket also gets you access to the disco starting at 10pm.

Which brings me to this news.

Check out the line up of DJs set to keep the compassionate crowd dancing tomorrow night after 10pm until late.

Luminous Pentatonic small

Meet DJ Louise Luminous ranked the 19th best female DJ in the UK by Shejay.

Louise was a former Chair & President of the Vegan Society, spent 9 months undercover revealing what really happened in SmithKline Beecham animal testing labs and established ‘World Vegan Day’ over 20 years ago which has gone on to become a respected event all over the world. Read a fascinating interview about her vegan musical mixes here.

You can find out more about Louise’s life so far – including 9 months undercover with the police on her tail – here

Louise will play an eclectic mix on New Year’s Eve featuring French house music, pop, 80’s soul and perhaps the odd vegan anthem!

Meet DJ Supa B and Mr Frenzy, photographed here at the beginning of a mammoth 12-hour Luminous Frenzy Sound System DJ set at the French Institute in Berlin in May this year (2014).

Frank tells the story:

‘We played to 3,000 people that night which was a party that celebrated philosophy, so it wasn’t your normal dance music crowd. I’d made special bespoke tracks with recordings of philosophers speaking – which I then mixed into the latest tunes. It was all quite surreal, but fortunately it went down a storm and proved philosophers can dance just like ‘normal’ people!’

DJ Supa B made it through to seven in the morning in Berlin and is planning a suitably poptastic set alongside her normal house music. “I want to play something for everyone at FGV NYE. I had an epiphany during a recent set at Kabaret @ Karamel when I realised there is NOTHING I would rather do than DJ to a receptive crowd, so get ready party people!”

This is going to be a massive party as London vegans and their friends celebrate in this 100% vegan venue.

Tickets for this incredible DJ line up are only £8 plus booking fee. Clearly an incredible bargain.
