Ethiopian dinner
I love a tasty ‘one night only’ food event. How delightful to know the food experience you are part of will never be replicated in quite the same way ever again.
This is one of the reasons I run my special events and also why I think you need to know about this event put on by some talented chefs.
AfroBase is a coming together of African food and music on Saturday 18th October at Kabaret, the vegan cafe and late night venue based in the Karamel complex of Wood Green.
The kitchen is being handed over to the creative food forces of Eritrean/Ethiopian experts, Abycina (pictured). Rich vegetable stews and fluffy injera are sure to be the order of the night.
If you want a bit of music to accompany your food, the dinner will be followed by Afrobeat from some of the finest specialist DJs in London. Sounds incredible, especially when you remember the bar of this venue is also 100% vegan.
Food is set to be served from 7:30pm, the venue is open until 2:00am and free entry means more money for you to spend on food and drink.
Enjoy!
The venue is a 7 minute walk from Wood Green station on the Piccadilly Line.
