Cheap as chocolate

It is a wonderful time of year. A time of year I always look forward to with great anticipation. No, not spring. It’s time for discounted vegan chocolate.

Here are two delights I picked up this week in the post-Easter sales.

How about you? What have you found in the chocolate bargain bins this week?

What was good? What was amazing?

  1. I bought all the Choices caramel chocolates and champagne Booja Booja. At half price, they were bargainous!

  2. I had of the Choices white chocolate bunnies and it was revolting… Couldn’t finish it!

    • I love the Choices caramels though πŸ˜‰

      • P.S. I blame allergies and tiredness for my inability to either construct a proper sentence or successfully submit a comment haha.

Oh and fat fingers on an iPhone (possibly due to too many Choices caramels)!

    • My boyfriend had one recently and it also was revolting – exactly the same as when ‘real’ white chocolate goes bad. The white egg I had was fine though. Must have been a bad bunny batch!

  3. OMG that honeycomb chocolate egg looks like sex – will def pick that up next year … that’s unless you see another one in the sales and keep it until I get back? πŸ˜‰

    • If you think I could have a vegan chocolate egg in my house for months, you are truly deluded!

      • I know, I know! πŸ˜›

  4. I recently bought 12 kilos of Plamil chocolate chips. They weren’t in a sale, but if you buy 6kg at a time they work out about 72p per 100g! Soon after I bought them they sent me an email saying they were giving an extra 10% off over that weekend, which was too late for me, but it’s worth getting on their mailing list if you do a lot of baking. A kilo bag of choc chips makes a nice gift for baking friends too, and makes it more likely they might bake vegan treats!

  5. I had the most gorgeous cream egg in my vegan tuck box, oh my! I’m going to try and root out some of that zero zebra – it looks fab, is it?

    • It is delicious! They do all sorts of shapes like alphabet and even a Christmas one at the end of the year.
