Vegan coach trip

I adore creating events that give the vegan community fun opportunities to socialise while supporting vegan businesses at the same time.

You knew that, right? Well, check this out.

I am thrilled to announce the first ever Fat Gay Vegan day trip. It is a Vegan Coach Trip!

This is your opportunity to spend a day with a coach load of compassionate people, get in some last minute Christmas shopping, eat delicious food and support vegan businesses.

Here are the details.

Vegan Coach Trip will start at 9:15am on Sunday December 21, 2014 as we gather and board the coach at Holborn in central London for a 9:30am departure.

Our 2 hour journey (approx) will be broken up with an on board quiz with prizes and you will have time to look through your vegan goodie bag. (1 bag per passenger with contents to be announced)

Once we arrive at the Hatton Shopping Village and Christmas Village, you will have approximately 5 hours to shop, eat and mingle.

Will will then reconvene for our coach trip back to central London, leaving at approximately 5:30pm (TBC) to be dropped back at Holborn a few hours later.

What is the attraction of heading to Hatton?

The incredible vegan-owned and run The Vegan Grindhouse will be on hand to sell their delicious plant-based creations. Their menu on the day will include:

  • Grindhouse Burgers
  • Chicken Style Burgers
  • Christmas Burgers
  • Hot Dogs
  • Chilli Dogs
  • Mac Dogs
  • Mac n Cheese (soya free)
  • Chilli and Rice (gluten and soya free)

  • Mince Pies
  • Mulled Winter Punch (gluten and soya free)
  • Christmas Cake
  • Cookies
  • Death Proof Burger Challenge
  • Planet Terror Hot Dog Challenge

As this is the final Sunday before Christmas, it is also a great chance to purchase last minute gifts for friends and family from the 100% vegan soap and skincare shop, The Blue Lemon.

The Blue Lemon is full of great gift ideas including handmade soaps, lotions, gift sets, face wash, skincare products and much more. All products are cruelty-free with no animal ingredients. You can check out the full range online.

Passengers on the Vegan Coach Trip will be given an exclusive 20% off voucher to use in The Blue Lemon on the day (discount applies if you spend more than £20) so this will be the perfect place to pick up something for your friends, family and yourself.

On top of the opportunity to support these two amazing vegan businesses, you will have ample time to browse the Christmas market, the Fashion Outlet store selling heavily reduced clothing plus many other traders featuring crafts and jewellery.

The management of the shopping village are making sure the cafe on site will have plenty of soya milk for our cups of tea and of course The Hatton Arms (20 minutes by foot through the Hatton Estatewill sort out any alcohol-related concerns you have.

  1. That sounds like great fun. Not sure about a coach trip with a toddler sadly!

  2. Sounds awesome!!
But do you really mean ‘It will be our responsibility if you miss the coach.’
That sounds mighty kind of you, to take responsibility for something that is most definitely not your fault.
*The FGV, taking compassion to even newer, higher more responsible levels!!*
    :-p
