Brunch with a bang

Here is a quick post to get you over the midweek blues and get you ready for the weekend.

Regular readers will be all too familiar with my love affair with 222 Veggie Vegan, a superb vegan eatery located on North End Road in West Kensington. You will have read about my first visit here and probably also saw my detailing of a subsequent visit here. Now let us return once again to discover what my favourite London restaurant has on offer for weekend brunch.

Weekend vegan brunch at 222 Veggie Vegan

Josh and I were traipsing across London a few Saturdays ago (for some forgotten reason) when we decided it would be a fabulous idea to call in on 222 Veggie Vegan again. Gee, am I glad we did!

As always, lunch was a buffet affair and after being seated we grabbed our plates and headed straight to the food. I piled my plate high with stuffed tomato, coleslaw, stir fried broccoli/mushroom, brown rice and scrambled tofu bake.

All of the food was glorious, but the trophy for the irresistible dish that required another trip to the buffet goes to the tofu scramble bake. Crunchy on the outside and fluffy and flavoursome on the inside, tofu was made to be served in this manner.

Check out the 222 Veggie Vegan website for location and opening hours. Enjoy a weekend brunch soon and let me know what you think.

I haven’t, but I saw a flier advertising their breakfast menu last week – sounds amazing!

    • No, I haven’t been to inSpiral for breakfast yet. Thanks for the heads up. If you go, let me know what it is like.

  2. I love 222 Veggie Vegan, the creamy mushroom pasta dish on their menu is one of my favourite meals ever.

    • The mushroom dish is heavenly. I love their menu but do love the idea of getting a little of everything at the brunch.

  3. Does 222 still serve brunch?
    Says nothing on their website…

    • I haven’t been in a while. I might give the a call.
