JVS has been busy planning and delivering a lineup of community-focussed events and meals in North London for years.
The good news is that they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon with a full calendar on the horizon, including this special planting session with a vegan meal.

JVS is hosting a veg and flower seed sowing session followed by a light vegan supper on Thursday, 23 April 2026 in Golders Green from 6:30pm.
The JVS instructors will be demonstrating the ‘seed sushi roll’ planting method which by all accounts is easy and fun. You’ll also have the chance to help plant in the beautiful JVS garden.
There will be a light pasta supper prepared by the JVS chef, served alongside hot drinks.
All participants will be asked to take their seed pots home to grow on a sunny windowsill and bring them back to JVS in around four weeks to be planted in their beautiful garden. This is real community action!
JVS will supply the seeds but of course you are welcome to bring any extra seeds you have in your possession.
